In this activity students will get more familiar with drone controls and working with a visual observer to practice their communication skills by following a list of instructions given by another student.

How fast does our drone fly?
How can I find the distance from the drone’s speed?
How can I program the drone to fly a certain distance?

In this activity, students will use advanced piloting skills combined with game theory to play a game of aerial Tic Tac Toe.

How can my team improve our performance in a drone relay challenge?

Can a pilot and observer work together to pilot a drone to complete a task, when the pilot can’t see the operating area?

Students will learn how to program the drone to create squares and rectangles of their choice while reviewing and/or learning about the use of loops in computer codes to help make codes more efficient.

Students will learn how to program the drone to create any regular polygon of their choice while reviewing and/or learning about the characteristics of regular polygons.

Students will create code to command a drone to enlarge a figure. The goal is for the drawing to be an exact replica of a figure drawn on paper, but at a larger scale.

Teams will participate in a package delivery activity that simulates the delivery of packages using the drone.
